起初　神創造天地。 (創世記 1:1)

• 起初──萬物之初
• 神──原文是複數形式
• 創造──從無到有
• 天地──「天」的原文是複數形式──諸天與大地

萬物之初，三位一體的神從無到有創造諸天與大地。

地是空虛混沌．淵面黑暗．神的靈運行在水面上。(創世記 1:2)

• 淵面──混亂、虛空、黑暗
• 水──「水」原文是複數形式──眾水：早已存在／不是被造的

創造之先、大地還沒形成之前，水早已存在、不是被造的。

神說、要有光、就有了光。（創世記 1:3）

• 要有光──神旨意的彰顯 
• 就有了──因為他說有、就有．命立、就立。(詩篇33:9)

神看光是好的、就把光暗分開了。(創世記 1:4)

光是好的

• 如同光明勝過黑暗 (傳道書 2:13)
• 光本是佳美的 (傳道書 11:7)
• 神就是光 (約翰一書 1:5)
• 你們是世上的光 (馬太福音 5:14)

分開

• 世界的末了、也要這樣．天使要出來從義人中、把惡人分別出來。（馬太福音13:49）
• 萬民都要聚集在他面前．他要把他們分別出來、好像牧羊的分別綿羊山羊一般．（馬太福音25:32）
• 他們要使我的民知道聖俗的分別、又使他們分辨潔淨的和不潔淨的。(以西結書44:23)

神說、諸水之間要有空氣、將水分為上下。 (創世記1:6)

空氣＝穹蒼

穹蒼＝一個擴展的、浩瀚的表面

• 你豈能與　神同鋪穹蒼麼．這穹蒼堅硬、如同鑄成的鏡子。(約伯記 37:18)
• 上使穹蒼堅硬、下使淵源穩固．(箴言 8:28)
• 那在天上建造樓閣、在地上安定穹蒼、命海水澆在地上的、耶和華是他的名。(阿摩司書 9:6)

神就造出空氣、將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了．事就這樣成了。(創世記1:7)

02──THE UNIVERSE FROM THE BIBLE (Firmament)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1-NKJV)

• IN THE BEGINNING──The beginning of all things
• GOD──Hebrew: Elohim (a plural form)
• CREATED──by forming from nothing (Amplified Bible)

In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. (AMP)

The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. (Genesis 1:2-NASV)

• the surface of the deep──Chaos, Emptiness, Darkness 
• waters──already existed, not created

And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.  (Genesis 1:3-NASB)

• Let there be light──The manifestation of God’s will
• and there was──For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. (Psalm 33:9)

God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1:4- NASV)

THE LIGHT WAS GOOD

• As light excels darkness (Ecclesiastes 2:13)
• Truly the light is sweet (Ecclesiastes 11:7)
• God is light (1 John 1:5)
• You are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14)

SEPARATED

• So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just. (Matthew 13:49)
• All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. (Matthew 25:32)
• “And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. (Ezekiel 44:23)

Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” (Genesis 1:6-NKJV)

FIRMAMENT──an extended surface, expanse

• With Him, have you spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror? (Job 37:18)
• When He made firm the skies above, When the springs of the deep became fixed. (Proverbs 8:28-NASB)
• It is He who builds His upper chambers in the heavens And has established His vaulted dome (the firmament of heaven) over the earth, He who calls to the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth—The Lord is His name. (Amos 9:6-AMP)

Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. (Genesis 1:7-NKJV)
